The NUKE series consists of 4 unique parts, each representing it’s own characteristic Brutalist structure. From the underrated structures in unfamiliar places to the more known structures of the Brutalism era.
The photographed structures are formed with repeated modular elements, distinctly articulated and grouped together into a unified whole. Surfaces of cast concrete are made to reveal the basic nature of its construction, revealing the texture of the wooden planks used for the in-situ form. It is photographed to let its raw and unpretentious honesty be revealed, which contrasts dramatically with the highly refined and emblematic construction.
NUKE is an architectural philosophy that can be associated with an utopian ideology.
